An antique bureau for ambiance.

DESERT GOLF

Talk about a hole in one!
This saquaro cactus on the desert golf course....lol

Joann swings with style

Paul gets the ball in the air.

Garey and Joann look for a missing ball in the creosote bush.

Garey lines up for his final shot. Anything inside the sand ring is a score.

Joann and Paul wait for Mary to swing.

I actually hit the ball and left the tee. Amazing!

Whoops,Paul I think the ball was supposed to be in the air?....

Who would think you could play golf on the desert floor? Rocks, cacti, brush and ball eating saquaro cactus simply make the game more of a challenge, and much more fun!! Very few rules and lots of laughter were the theme of todays game. We had a blast.

Gary goes wheeling in the Tracker

While in Havasu City we didn't have the RZRs soooooo.....
Gary's little Tracker does an impressive job of 4-wheeling.
The hill is steeper than the photo shows.

He crowns the hill

Just one more way to have fun!

PLANE

Paul fell in love with this nifty little plane that landed in the little airfield here in Brenda.

A DESERT WALK WITH THE BELLES

I was psyched to find this butterfly out in the desert. It is a "Vanessa Annabella" which is our Bella's registered name! Bella has found a new perch (throne) on the back of the couch from which she surveys her kingdom.

The Belles have learned not to sniff the prickly plants out here!

We have the most wonderful time taking long off leash walks in the desert.

Even Breezey loves walking in the desert! (for a while, anyway)

"Old Mother Hubbard" A/K/A Anniebelle still keeps up with the best of us. We often walk to the foothills of the pretty mountains in the background.

THE STONE CABIN

Looks like Moe has a new pet

Mary visits Moe, who has acquired a wife and new baby since last year's visit.

Paul checks out the geocache, lots of new interesting stuff.

I think their old pet died......

Interesting sign on the way

FIREWORKS IN HAVASU

Ground displays

High in the sky pyrotechnics

A heart for Valentine's Day

We spent a couple days in Havasu Lake City to attend a pyrotechnics display there. It was great, just like Independence day once again. Havasu always seems to have something going on. We also attended a carnival, classic car show and big swap meet. (giant yard sale sorta)
Paul took the great fireworks shots.
