AT THE TOP

The boys are IN THE EYE!!! (apologies for the poor quality point and shoot images)
The Garmin Zumo was for Paul's motorcycle, but has turned out to be excellent for off roading here in the desert.

Mountain Goat Jim enjoying a view of his conquest.

What is it with Paul and Cactus????

A Teddy Bear clings tenaciously to Paul's toe.

Garey C. pulls out cactus spines.

The boys are happy after the big hike.

Mary and Jeri enjoy the fabulous view.
Garey C. arrives on the ridge above us.

Still quite a climb to go.

I'm very happy I chose to stay behind and take photos....

EAGLE EYE ASCENT

Hard to distinguish the boys from cacti.

A long trek up.
The Teddy Bear Cholla Cactus seem particularly attracted to Paul.
Jim brought chairs so Jeri and I could watch and wait in comfort. What a view!

EAGLE EYE WITH THE GANG

Paul checks out the target.
Getting there is half the fun.

Gary K. comes up the hill.

Twin Peaks and desert flowers, simply breathtaking.

Brittle bush starting to bloom.

TWO WHEELS DOWN AND SMILING FACES UP

Paul with his mistress.
Gary and Jeri on the new Harley, Paul riding behind?

Paul offers his Mardi Gras beads to Gary.

Gary all grins.

MARDI GRAS (vicariously)

Anniebelle loves her "Queen of Sheba" look.
Bella thinks she's Cleopatra.

Breezey's clueless but happy!
Paul looks a bit too comfortable in beads.

Our neigbor, friend, and dogsitter Connie returns from Mardi Gras with a gazillion beads and gifts, generously bestowing all of us with decorations.

MAINE GETS HAMMERED

I just can't believe what a winter our friends and family in Maine are enduring.
I sure wish everyone could be out here with us!!!

Thank you, Harold for the photos of the weather forecast at home. I'm signing us up for another month!!!!!!!!
