LAST OF THE DESERT PIX

My apologies to you who are tired of desert pix. I know it's not the same as being here! (but it's the best way I can share...)

AND MORE DESERT COLORS

MORE DESERT BLOOMS

The stunning yellow bushes are called "Brittle Bush". Acres of the desert floor there is carpeted with little purple flowers.
On occasion you will find a flowering Prickly Pear (in this case a Beaver tail) and Hedgehog Cacti as well.

INCREDIBLE DESERT BEAUTY

All I can say is "WOW". Paul took me out for one last ride in the desert before we left Brenda AZ. He had memorized where he and Gary had passed flowering cacti, I can't even imagine how he remembered those small plants as he covered 100s of miles of trails, but he did.

I had the hardest time choosing which pix to post. Everything that evening was breathtaking. We were even blessed with a desert rainbow, and a desert sunset.
