MOUNTAIN LION EVIDENCE

Paul and Gary took the Ranger down by the river where Mountain Lions have been spotted. There were tracks a plenty, large and impressive.
In the above photo, you can see where the Lion was dragging an unfortunate victim. There are lots of Javelinas (wild pigs) here, so we are thinking that was the most likely victim of the big cats.

This print was much larger than a mans fist.

Gary demonstrates the size of the print.
Although Paul and Gary flew the PPC, and 4-wheeled along the river, the cats never made an appearance.

MARY GETS TO FLY!!!

I'm so excited for my first flight of the year!
That's Denny and me, high in the sky!

For some reason, I abandoned most of my fear and enjoyed this flight like no other. :)
When I came out to take pix, I didn't know I would be getting to fly!

Ready to go, the propeller is turning up

Leave it to me to take pictures of dogs from the air.

A billowy white chute flies beside us

Denny flies us over some really cool geographic formations

Don't think I'd want to climb up there! Looks pretty fragile.

Looking DOWN on a flock of birds

Mountain lion tracks have been seen along this river, so Denny and I go lion "hunting."

Pretty green farmland

Mary and Bella enjoy the good company. It was a very dog friendly gathering.
