Did you notice in the second photo that there was a double rainbow? When the first rainbow is that bright, you can almost always count on a second rainbow to appear thought it will be much lighter than the main one and reversed in color because it is a reflection of the first.
Without a doubt the brightest rainbow we had ever seen.
