GEOCACHING

Now this is FUN STUFF. We got together today with 3 other couples to explore the desert and try some geocaching. Geocaching is an awesome pastime in which you find coordinates (usually from the internet), http://www.geocaching.com/about/
program them into your GPS, then head out to locate the treasure! We had a ball finding several neat boxes full of odd goodies. We left a folding pair of scissors and a bottle cap good for a free soda, haha. We didn't take anything away from the caches.
The caches are often left in interesting or very scenic areas, so it is a double treasure!
Paul's new motorcycle GPS (Garmin Zumo) did a super job of navigating the desert trails.
The top photo is a mexican coin found in one of the caches.
