Paul had to show off by photographing the Vanessa Annabella "on" the cactus bloom. They weren't landing on them, he got this one going by!!

Cute bunny on Paul's morning walk.

FANTASTIC DESERT FLOWERS

A beautiful Vanessa Annabella butterfly on Golden Crownbeard. There was a HUGE migration of these butterflies here, literally thousands are flying through this area, even now.

Another Vanessa Annabella, the butterfly Bella is named for.
Staghorn Cholla blossom. These Cacti have blossoms in many different colors, from green to magenta.

A hedgehog cactus in bloom.

WICKENBURG

Depiction of "horse" in stall in Wickenburg, turn of the century. Very nice western museum here.
A Wickenburg bedroom of the same era.
Kitchen
Dining area
Nice parlor

General store

Ohhh nice saloon.
Here's Paul at the jail tree, chained and angry. heehee

Pretty hard to budge this counterweight.

Impressive way to keep prisoners, no jail needed.

Staghorn Cholla blooms just coming out.

Huge quartz, and lots more where it came from.

First time I've seen these, a type of wild Mallow, I think.
